There are many types of solar charge controller.According to the application situation, they are divided into three types.

       1、Solar street lamp charge controller:

       mainly used for solar street lamps, advertising lights. there are two types of solar street lamp controllers in the market:

Ordinary solar street lamp controller: the output voltage is 12V or 24V, consistent with the battery, mainly used for built-in driving voltage LED lamp. Such as: OLYS  company  SKC series, STC series.

Solar street lamp charge controller with LED driver:  the controller has a built-in LED lamp drive, which can be directly used for street lamps without LED lamp drive. Can be multi-period power regulation, intelligent power reduction. Such as: OLYS  STC-LED series.

       2、Solar  system charge controller:

       mainly used in off-grid power generation system, often used in household solar power generation, outdoor base station and other occasions, the difference with street lamp controller is that the load output of system controller is usually constant output or manual mode. There is no time control function.

       3、Solar RV charge controller:

       mainly used for RV, camper.  it can charge two batteries at the same time, one for the car engine to start the battery, and the other for the RV life battery. Such as: Olympus's MPPT50 series
